Aran Off Road Health and Safety Policy

Here at Aran Off Road Experience your Health and Safety is paramount for us. It is important to us that you read our Health and Safety Policy. We expect all our customers/ clients to adhere to our Health and Safety Policy. 

 

Our Health and Safety Policy refers to the following: 

 

• Your Driver/ Tour Guide: 

• At the start of each tour our Tour Guide will: 

  • Deliver a safety briefing to all our passengers / clients 

  • This will include the following elements: 

    • The importance of wearing your seatbelt

    • Staying in your seat until the vehicle has come to a full stop

    • Waiting for your driver/guide to open / close the doors and to let down/ bring up the access steps into the vehicle.

  • Advise you to be aware of uneven surfaces throughout the tour

Covid 19: 

• While social distancing guidelines are in place: 

• To ensure everybody’s health and wellbeing we kindly ask all, our passengers / clients to: 

  • within reason, limit physical interaction with your tour guide, or any other tour participant

  • Ask you to maintain the required social distance between yourself and anyone not from your household, during the course of the tour. 

 

• What we expect of you/ our clients/ passengers

• We would like our customers/ clients to note the following points: 

  • You will be going off the beaten track 

  • You will be walking on uneven ground

  • You will be walking to places that without caution can be very dangerous

• What do we expect from our customers / clients: 

  • Were appropriate footwear,

    •  ie runners, walking / hiking boots

    • Sandals and flip flops are not appropriate

  • Wear appropriate weather wear:

    • Prepare for the sun and the rain!  

  • To exercise their own personal judgement in relation to our walks/ destinations

  • To exercise proper caution and judgement in relation to their behaviour while visiting some of the sites on the island

  • to be aware and mindful of the dangers of ill-advised behaviour while at our destinations, 

  • To make sure anybody under 18 years of age is supervised at all times while on tour with Aran Off Road Experience

  • To ensure that all individuals on our tour behave in a careful, mindful and proper manner at all times while on tour with Aran Off Road Experience. 

Aran Off Road Experience will not accept any responsibility for any passenger not adhering to our Health and Safety Policy.
