How to get here

From Galway :

Did you know that it takes just 8 minutes to fly to Inis Mór? They fly out of Connemara Airport which is less than 40 minutes drive from Galway City. Flying is especially popular for visitors returning to the island who have ‘done’ the boat already and are looking for something different.

Aran Island Ferries is one of Ireland’s largest domestic ferries. They operate all year round (except 24th, 25th & 26th December) from Rosaveel Harbour, which is approx 45 mins from Galway City. You can get a bus transfer from Galway City to Rosaveel approximately 1 hour before the ferry time at a cost of €9 return per adult.
